Welcome to the website of Forest Lake Riding School! We offer riding lessons for children and adults, Pony Parties to make your child's birthday party special, as well as Holiday Programs/Activities and Fun Days on public holidays and pupil free days. All of our school horses have been carefully selected to give the riders a variety of skill levels as they progress.
We offer riding lessons for children and adults of all skill levels
Lessons are small group lessons and go for 45 minutes
Lessons run Tuesday - Saturday in the morning and afternoon

Anzac Day Parade 2013
It’s that time of year again when Anzac day is fast approaching! Like any parade, the only way we can make this happen is with lots of help. There is much work in preparing the horses for the parade, so if anyone can volunteer their time on the day it would be greatly appreciated.
All this help is what makes it a safer and more enjoyable time for our kids who will be nervous riding in the parade. Anyone wanting to march in the parade is welcome!

Just a quick update to let you know that the Campdrafting School planned for Sunday, April 21 has been moved to Sunday, May 5.
Campdrafting Dates for April
In Campdrafting, a rider on horseback must “cut out” one beast from the mob of cattle in the yard or “camp”, then take it through a course around pegs in a figure eight, before guiding it through two pegs known as “the gate”.
Our Campdrafting School is an exciting opportunity to try out a sport many of us have not experienced. And those of you who attended our previous Campdrafting Schools already know how much fun it is, and are probably keen to get another chance to chase cows!
In April, we will have two Campdrafting Schools: Monday, April 8 (during the school holidays) and Sunday, April 21Sunday, May 5. Places are limited, so be quick and book now!
