Forest Lake Riding School was established in 2008 and is a small riding school located just off Woogaroo Street in Forest Lake, just 30 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. We offer everything from horse riding lessons for children and adults (beginners to advanced riders), to Pony Birthday parties, Holiday Programs and Fun Days on public holidays. We are open 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday.

Our instructors are qualified and have years of experience, and our group lessons are small with usually only 3 – 4 riders under instruction, to provide you with the best learning experience you can have.

Our facilities include two equestrian arenas (one of them Olympic size), a sand round yard, an undercover area for Pony Parties as well as a BBQ, microwave, fridge, and soft drinks and water are available for purchase. We also provide safety approved helmets and safety stirrups, and we have some riding boots available for loan although there are limited sizes. Parking is also available. There are shaded seats available overlooking the arena so parents can watch their children’s lessons or catch up on some reading while they wait.

Our Horses

Our school horses are well educated and have been carefully selected to suit all skill levels and ages, and range from approx. 11hh-16.3hh. We also have two Minis, little Zoe and Thunder, available for Pony Parties for younger children.
